istanbul <3 ; turkey — country no 9

1st time to istanbul is to meet bang age, n at least to run away again from my broken heart with ghaith..

on 27 apr 2013.. i almost cancel my trip to istanbul coz i dun have much budget anymore since i just came back from capetown and tokyo, but in the end i decided to go..

i bought the ticket in early morning , for the 11 o clock flight. and i check in myself, i can choose my seat coz the flight is so light, and check in is done! but im pretty much upset when i went to staff travel, they changed my seat , i already feel annoyed. i wanna sleep , but there is full people beside me and around my seat. cant find an empty seat, i mean i checked the load and it’s light! where is these ppl’s booking before??  i was too much tired, after night duty and i just fell asleep… i woke up in the middle of the journey!! (i didnt get my food?!! wth!!) when suddenly, this guy beside me , he cant find the plug for the earphone. so i pointed where it is to him. then we started talking..  i realized he’s quite friendly. i tot at the first he is a chinese in fact he is a japanese,, he is not arrogant at all.. we talked for hours.. i enjoyed his company… should really grateful of him ! got a new friend ~

in istanbul for the first time, i went to eat pudding hafiz mustafa,  i met maia n bang galiv, at night, we went to ortakoy, i tried kumpir..

next day, in the morning, i went to tohkapi palace, blue mosque and take the bosphorus boat to europe n asia side.

then bang age drop me to the airport…

well,, actually the whole trip i dun really enjoyed coz i was too tired.. one thing i glad i went on that day,is bcoz i met yu higuchi san 🙂 he is one of my motivation to learn japanese (i mean when he told me he’s learning indonesian, it triggers me, why dont i learn japanese,it’s something new for me and i kinda love japan anyway) im glad i did and still going on for now. it’s difficult but very interesting..if only i know from long time back.. well, i feel my life more interesting and lively.

i believe in terms of if it is meant to be , it’s meant to be.. or you meet people who you destined to meet.. if only , i decided not to go that day or if only i insist my old seat rather than accept the fact that my seat has being changed, i wouldn’t know him.. once again, arigato. and alhamdulillah ^^by talking to him, im able to find my new goal O:)

~~~~~~~~ 2nd trip on september, with mom, ririn, and tetty.
i went again to istanbul but this time with mama, ririn, and tetty . i wanted mom to go where i went so, we followed my first itinerary with some addition . This time, in Istanbul i slept in an apartment near osmanbey area, i went to hagia sophia, i watched hodjapasha dance, ate hafiz mustafa again, had lunch in white mill, and ate kumpir again…
we flew to cappodacia on the 3rd day,, it was amazing. we stayed in kismet cave hotel, and if you mention that you knew about the hotel from captivating cappodacia , you will get 10 percent discount 🙂 im glad i stayed in kismet, farouk was very amazing host. he took us round to underground city, and to goreme..
capetown, south africa ; country number 11 :)
17apr-19apr2013
on my first day in capetown, it was raining,so we waited till therain stops.
me n gumi stayed at the big hostel near table mountain, after a while, we walked to victoria wharf and around it, we ate in bismillah restaurant in bo kaap (malay cape) we met the incredible couple who has indonesian blood on them. they are very proud when they told us their great great grandmother are indonesian. we were amazed. it’s verymuch different with people in malaysia or arab.
it was amazing experience that the people in cape malay are too kind to us when they know we r from Indonesia. and the history-talk begin. they serve us roiboos tea which i kinda like. 🙂
on 2nd day we booked a tour cape peninsula tour – i saw penguin live !!!! love them. they actually really like happyfeet, hahaha.. kawaii..
on3rd day, i tot i will go to table mountain in the morning, but table mountain is closed due to heavy rain, so we just roaming around with ofer, a jewish from romania.. this is my first time have an interaction with jewish, but i will say, regardless of watever religion of ppl, we have one universal language : warm body gesture, smile and respect each other… he took us to botanical garden n six district museum, and have coffee in long street cafe.. i love the sorrounding, it’s kinda like in holland , gumi said…
if im going to capetown again : i must go to ostrich farm , nyobain restoran ada di list di blog ini, table mountain, and south african museum,,,
In San, the verb, K”Anna means, “To call to the rain”, and standing alone in a dark room at the back South African National Museum, I read the translation for the rainmaking ritual of the San:
Call out to the rain, keep calling, standing in the rain: Oh friend, oh friend, oh friend, hold still, rain gently for me. >>> dari http://digitalnomad.nationalgeographic.com/2013/11/18/kaapstad-in-the-rain/
